As a Concept AgriTek dealer in southern Indiana, Nick Wenning works directly with growers across a wide range of soil types, crops, and management styles. He sees firsthand which products get used year after year because they work.
“I use so many of Concept’s products that it’s hard to narrow it down,” Nick says.
Still, a few consistently rise to the top. These are the products Nick relies on year after year, not just because they move volume, but because they deliver results across different soils, crops, and management styles.
Sweet Fulvic and Sweet Success
Nick groups Sweet Fulvic and Sweet Success as one because he rarely runs them separately. For him, the real value is how they work together to spike plant sugar levels and improve overall efficiency.
Sweet Fulvic acts as a powerful chelator and delivery system. It helps move nutrients into the plant more efficiently and improves uptake through both the soil and the leaf. Sweet Success complements that by providing readily available sugars that feed plant metabolism and soil biology.
The combination supports nutrient movement, improves plant energy, and helps crops respond better to everything else in the tank.
Carbon RX
Carbon RX earns its place on Nick’s list because of what it does below the surface. The product is designed to increase available carbon in the soil, which is critical for microbial activity and nutrient cycling.
By increasing carbon availability, Carbon RX helps unlock tied up nutrients and improves overall soil function. That translates to better root development, improved nutrient efficiency, and more consistent performance across varying conditions.
Calbor
Calbor may not be the highest volume product Nick sells, but it is one he uses across a lot of farms.
“It’s not our biggest product by volume,” he says, “but we use it on a lot of acres.”
Calbor delivers calcium and boron in a highly available form, supporting cell wall strength, root growth, and reproductive development. These nutrients are critical for standability, pollination, and overall plant structure.
Concept S17
Sulfur plays a major role in nitrogen efficiency and protein formation, and Concept S17 provides a reliable source that fits well into modern fertility programs.
Nick likes S17 because it is versatile and consistent. It helps crops access nitrogen more effectively while supporting early season growth and overall vigor.
Foliar K
Nick is quick to point out that Foliar K is only part of the story when it comes to potassium.
“We use a lot of Concept’s K products,” he says. “Foliar K, KMend, Komplete. We go through a ton of it.”
Potassium demand is high, especially during key growth stages, and Nick makes sure his growers have access to multiple forms to meet that need. Foliar K provides fast uptake during peak demand periods, helping with water regulation, stalk strength, and grain fill.
“We usually have truckloads sitting around because guys are always coming to get it,” Nick adds.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As Nick looks toward the 2026 growing season, one product he is especially excited about is EcoFlux as a seed treatment.
“That hits every farmer,” Nick says. “A lot of my guys say, ‘I don’t have liquid on my planter or I don’t have the capability to do some of this stuff.’ Everybody uses talc and graphite. So I’m excited.”
EcoFlux is a proprietary micronutrient package that does more than lubricate, it activates soil biology, enhances phosphorus efficiency, and drives plant vigor. All without changing equipment or planter setups.
Nick is also optimistic about what he saw in trials with Vermiboost and BoostMax and plans to put those products to work even more this year.
For Nick Wenning, the value of Concept AgriTek products comes down to real world performance. These are tools he trusts, uses, and stands behind because they deliver where it counts.
