Concept AgriTek expands its agronomy team with the addition of Brandon Poole, who will help to serve farmers along the east coast with custom agronomic solutions.
In his new role, Poole will be working day-to-day with the sales team to support in-field decisions and helping to troubleshoot and find products and solutions that will help to remedy the problems they have. Poole will also serve dealers and their grower networks to help them leverage the agronomy, biology and chemistry needed to reach their soil and crops’ potential.
“The custom solutions Concept AgriTek provides is one of the main reasons I am so excited to be a part of this team. Working as an agronomist for North Carolina State University, I was very grower focused, finding solutions for specific problems – I never felt like I was recommending for the sake of recommending. I feel the same about this team and my role with Concept AgriTek. Our focus is using products and solutions and fitting them exactly where they need to be to work in the situation,” Poole says.
Working with the North Carolina State University agronomic research team for five years before transitioning to a role as an agronomist, Poole brings nearly a decade of agronomic experience to his role.
“Research is incredibly important and Concept AgriTek is bringing research to the farm with their technologies. I’m excited about putting those technologies to work; getting on the farm and honing in on what’s happening and how to solve and improve,” he says.
In his new role, Poole will bring focus to specialty crops to improve agronomic support within the vegetable, strawberry and tree nut production sectors, in addition to expanding service for row crop acres.
“Agronomy is a cornerstone of putting our proprietary technologies to work,” says Concept AgriTek owner and founder, Trey Curtis. “So expanding our agronomy team as we are seeing incredible growth, and with the expansion of our production facilities, is necessary to provide the support our sales team and customers need. With Brandon’s experience in research and on-farm application experience, he brings incredible value to our team.”
Poole began his role on March 20, 2023.
